ORDER jajangmyeon (4/5) sweet & sour pork (3.5/5) the jajangmyeon was delicious and very well priced. this is my favorite place to get jajangmyeon, however, the paik's noodle in buena park tastes better. we got the sweet and sour pork with sauce on the side. the pork was fried in a mochi-like batter, which is very unique. the sauce has a very light flavor. both paired perfectly with each other! SERVICE the food came out quickly! you order on a tablet and there is a button to call for service. very convenient :) AMBIANCE this restaurant isn't nearly as busy as the other restaurants in the plaza, so there was no wait on a saturday night. it is very spacious!

I decided to check this place out mostly because of Culinary Class Wars. After trying the jajangmyeon and sweet and sour pork, I now understand why Paik is such a successful restaurateur. As someone who doesn't usually like jajangmyeon as much, this place hit the spot. The flavor wasn't too salty compared to other places and the noodles were perfectly chewy. It's a bit hard to find parking in the area, similar to other ktown restaurants. The ambiance is old school with a lot of 2nd/3rd gen kpop playing, which was definitely my favorite part. Love this place and would definitely come back again!

Paik's Noodle is founded by Chef Jong Won Paik, who you might know from the Netflix series Culinary Class Wars. They're serving up some of the best and most comforting fusion food like their jajang (black bean sauce) which you can get with noodle or rice, and their jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup). Don't miss out on their lemon chicken where they pour the most delicious and tangy sauce on top of the crispy chicken.

Paik's Noodle House is one of the better spots for Korean-Chinese food in Ktown! Their seafood noodles and jajangmyun are legit, with great flavors and generous portions. I always get the Jaebun Jajangmyun to-go because it tastes just as amazing the next day as it does fresh--perfect for leftovers. My only gripe is with the spice level. I always order extra spicy, but it's never spicy at all, which can be a letdown if you're looking for that kick. That said, the overall quality and taste of their dishes keep me coming back. Definitely worth a try if you're craving solid Korean-Chinese comfort food!

If you're craving authentic Korean noodles, Paik's Noodles is the place to be! This spot delivers bold flavors, generous portions, and a cozy, casual vibe that keeps me coming back. I ordered the Jajangmyeon (black bean noodles), and it was perfection. The noodles were springy and fresh, coated in a rich, savory black bean sauce with tender bits of pork and veggies. It's comfort food at its finest. The Jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup) was another standout--just the right amount of heat, loaded with fresh seafood, and so satisfying. The portions here are huge, so come hungry or plan to share. Service is fast and friendly, and the space is clean and welcoming, though it can get busy during peak hours. But that just speaks to how good this place is--it's totally worth the wait! If you're a noodle lover or want a taste of Korea, Paik's Noodles is a must-visit. Authentic, affordable, and delicious--what more could you want? Parking is hard... there is valet service but may be circling around to find parking in the area.

Paik's Noodle is from Korea's famous Chef Paik, with this location being right across from Chapman Plaza in KTown. Yep, our second spot here in Koreatown for this joint but you'll find locations across Cali, with it originally hailing from Korea. As far as chains go, it's pretty reliable. Open until midnight every night, this is a great spot to not just stop in but get delivery from. It's funny because I go to this little strip a lot for various businesses, but haven't dined inside of Paik's. I have, however, had delivery three times. I can only imagine the food is even more crisp and tasty while hot in person. I do know they have a surprising lot of seating for the size of the space, and the parking lot is tiny, valet and always a cluster. So now the eats! My hunt for the best Chinese Korean is highly satiated at Paik's but alas! I still find minor faults. Their Jjajangmyeon is tasty enough, nice chewy noodles but the black bean sauce is missing...something. The flavor just doesn't hit for me. The Tangsuyuk is one of the better ones in Koreatown for sure. The sweet and sour sauce is perfectly soft in flavor while enriched with light vegetable accompaniments of slivers of carrots, bits of and wood ear mushrooms (the undisputed mushroom champ). Their pork is what notches this dish up for me, their batter has more of a chewy texture to it and it's so yum. Paik's fried dumplings are reliably great, as well, filled with pork and veggies with a crispy deep fried outer shell. ngl i will probably be skipping the jjajangmyeon next time I'm in, but am so down with the tangsuyuk and dumplings. Plus, their prices are pretty great here.

Paik's Noodle is a chain and has multiple locations, we went to the one in Ktown. When you go in, you can seat yourself and there are tablets at every table where you order yourself. The service is fast and your food comes out very quickly. We got the black bean noodles and tangsuyuk. The noodles itself were very chewy, had a nice umami and savoriness flavor to the sauce and the pork was nice and tender. Although, the portions were a bit small, if you are eating with someone else I recommend getting another bowl to share if you are hungry. We also got the tangsuyuk. The batter was nice and crispy, the pork was moist, and it went well with the sweet and tangy sauce. I recommend getting the sauce on the side so the batter stays crispy. We also got this stir fried black bean noodles with seafood and vegetables which was amazing! The smokiness of the dish really shines and goes well with the different vegetables and tender seafood. It was more of a dry noodle dish and tasted similar to a Chinese lo mein dish. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't expecting a lot from this chain restaurant since the one I go to is just okay. If you are craving Korean Chinese food and want quick service, I would recommend this place in Ktown!

I ordered jajangmyeon and jjamppong with gunmandu in a portion. I really liked their jajangmyeon, and the portions are huge! None of us could finish our meals.

Food was awesome, generous portions and worth the money I would say. Service was very quick, we ordered on the tablet and they brought it to our table in no time. Came at dinner time and there were a bunch of people at other tables casually chatting, it was nothing too loud. I'll definitely come back to this place, it's quick and their systems are easy to use. ( btw their toilets are also amazing and fully equipped )

I came for a quick dinner on a weekday night. There's a small parking lot but it was packed as KTown is very busy. The shop is very large and has a bunch of seating to accommodate most group sizes. It was quite dead when I arrived so getting a table and service was no problem. Food arrived in about 10-15min. 7.5/10 Jjamppong $14 - I can't speak to the authenticity but the broth was very good! Amazing seafood flavor, savory, good amount of spicy, and it did not feel thick and heavy. The noodles were made well, chewy, and large portions! There was a bunch of cabbage and veggies but very little protein. A couple mussels and a few pieces of squid. Wish there was more but still filling from the noodles.
